Leopard Rain Boots for the Win!

With the recent wet weather I have developed an intense love for one of my newest purchases, Leopard-print rain boots from Forever 21 (about $30).

I never used to be a fan of rain boots, maybe it was because I thought they would make my size 8 feet look even bigger, or maybe it was because I was never compelled to have anything made out of rubber in my wardrobe. But after I bought them, I quickly changed my mind.

I don't know about you, but my least favorite part of rainy weather is having wet feet. My tennis-shoes would always end up being soaked through on a rainy day, and even some pairs of boots couldn't quite keep out the water. Luckily for me, these rain boots really do their job. I have worn them in every intensity of rain, from the lightest sprinkle to the heaviest downpour, and my feet have stayed completely dry. Not to mention how cute the leopard print is, I can walk in style while protecting my feet and lower leg.

These boots are both durable and comfortable as well. My only complaint is that extremely thick socks make the boots a bit more snug than I would like, but they are warm enough to wear them with a regular sock.

Overall, I am extremely pleased with these rain boots, and I recommend them to all who want to look cute and stay dry!

For now, I am going to leave you with lyrics from my favorite song of the moment, "Bulletproof" by La Roux.

Bulletproof

Been there, done that, messed around
I’m having fun, don’t put me down
I’ll never let you sweep me off my feet
I won’t let you in again
The messages I’ve tried to send
My information’s just not goin in
Burning bridges, shore to shore
I break away from something more
I’m not to, not to love until it’s cheap
Been there, done that, messed around
I’m having fun, don’t put me down
I’ll never let you sweep me off my feet
This time baby
I’ll be Bulletproof
This time baby
I’ll be Bulletproof
I won’t let you turn around
I’ll tell you now, I’m much too proud
To walk away from something when it’s dead
Do do do your dirty worst
Come out to play when you are hurt
There’s certain things that should be
Left unsaid
Tick tick tick tick on the watch
Life’s too short for me to stop
Oh baby, your time is running out
I won’t let you turn around
And tell me now, I’m much too proud
All you do is fill be up with doubt
This time baby
I’ll be Bulletproof
This time baby
I’ll be Bulletproof
This time, I’ll be Bulletproof
This time, I’ll be Bulletproof
This time baby
I’ll be Bulletproof
This time baby
I’ll be Bulletproof
This time baby, this time baby
This time baby, this time
This time baby, this time baby
Bulletproof
